BharatPe, a leading fintech firm, has welcomed Pankaj Goel as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Goel, previously the Head of Payments Engineering at Razorpay, assumes this role following the departure of former CTO Vijay Aggarwal in November 2022.

With extensive experience at companies like Intuit, Trilogy, and Sun Microsystems, Goel brings a wealth of expertise to BharatPe. In his new position, he will report to Nalin Negi, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and interim CEO, and oversee the company's technology team.
Goel's appointment is part of BharatPe's ongoing leadership restructuring efforts, which began in 2023 following several executive departures in the previous year. The company has been actively bolstering its leadership team with new appointments, including Sandeep Indurkar as Chief Business Officer-Banking and Alliances, Aparna Kuppuswamy as Chief Risk Officer, and Kohinoor Biswas as Head of Consumer Lending Business.
Nalin Negi expressed confidence in Goel's capabilities, emphasizing the importance of technology in driving BharatPe's business and their commitment to innovative fintech products. The company aims to develop market-first and relevant solutions as it expands its presence in new domains.
